Canvas Time

Hi all

Time to share a very special project for a dear friend of mine. In 2011 a beautiful baby entered the world but with in a few hours the little one got very ill and was in NICU. She did pull through and was home w her parents within 3 months - a miracle from God ! Months later the parents dedicated their child to God. I offered to create a canvas for them with the scripture of  PSALM 91which they held onto.

It was a delight to make and a challenge ( for it meant so much to me and the parents) for i never have created anything like it. So after months of wanting to take pics i have them to share...

Products used were many - i am still a novas at it so here is a list, crackle paint, diamond dust, distress markers, bling, punches, flowers,chipboard shapes, distress inks, cardstock, co-ordinating papers.....

Hello there in 2013

Its been far to long i know - but Christmas was a tad busy here. BUT the new year has begun and time to create all those pages of the new photos we all have....

Here is one i created on New Years DAY !
I was given these lovely papers by a dear friend - so blessed. She has been working over in America and brought back this delightful paper pack by Colorbok - Sweet Memories

My Parents

Been working on a very special picture - MY PARENTS
Celebrating their 40th Wedding Anneversary this picture was taken.
It was also the first time the kids (us) x4 were together in about 12-15 years !

So here is my creation from scratch, back ground and all - no guidance what so ever, i am stepping out  - eeekkk

Now they are such strong colours for me to use ,  i have had these items for over a year and stepped out and used them - but i must say i was rather happy with the end result....

Right time to share what i have done for my mission a month this year !
I hosted a Creative Memories party for a cousin not so long ago. I have heard of them but NEVER seen or been to a party so this was my chance! I fell in love with these colours called Reminisce series, so I just had to get them.....
Once they arrived i got to work and this is what i have created

I started inking the back ground and got hold of my daughters craft glitter paint and stenciled in the wall and to my surprise it looked ace. It slowely came together with the flowers ......

Hidden TREASURES . . .

Yes its been some time since ive posted which means i have not had the chance to scrappe - very sad.

I have been creating and thought i would share a sketch via Deer and Fawn Designs. A fairly a new website with divine products and a fantastic owner. They have monthly challenges and this months sketch just caught my eye
so here is my take on the sketch:

I hand sewed the stems and thought i would stop randomly....

I recently went to the Stampin' UP new catalogue launch and could not resist the new season colours which i used in this layout ! They are just divine and had a ball using their Stampin' Write markers to create the back ground with a stamp.... I could not add a title for i felt the quote was just beautiful and says it all.

Well i must be on a roll

Here is my next page already! My album is coming along so well this year . . . .

This is a new thing for me - creating your own background! so here is one i played with. I recently got a stencil of bricks and used Gesso to get texture. Then added Diamond Dust and SmoochSpritz and the back was complete..... I still did not know which photo i was going to use BUT last night i played around and came up with this simple combination. A few rub-ons and bling....

I am very happy with it indeed ! I think simple is really becoming my thing at moment....
