NEW Freetyle

Last night was a time of finishing half done projects and totally excited to share this one. I went to Brisbane Expo in June this year and took a class by Louise Nelson - its worth taking a look!
The title of the class was 'Getting your Freestyle on'  ----  Well thats just what we did !
We got to use all sorts of media - gesso, watercolour paints, wire, staples, heat gun and the list goes on... I loved the freedom it gave and anything goes!!!! My first post in blogger land was one of the items i completed in Brisbane yet i had one more to go.... here it is:

Its been awhile....

Mornings ALL

Well its been awhile due to some very secret planning for my sisters 40th Surprise Birthday party which went without a hitch! ( thanks to many people who were involved) so due to this I have been working on an explosion box as her card which she now has, which i will be sharing in the coming weeks..... ( i have asked her to photograph it due to her learning more about photography so it will look fantastic i am sure)

BUT i wanted to share this page:
Pregnancy @ 39 weeks Miss Z - 2011

It has become one of my favourite at the moment - we got professional photos done of my pregnancy with Miss Z and love this picture and the quote is just perfect. I am really enjoying using rub-ons at the moment ! Have you used many lately?

i hope to share my explosion box with you soon - Happy creating though XOXOX Maryleen

Clean layout - about time !

Mizz Z just born and still in Hospital 2011

Finally i have done it - a simple clean layout... It has taken a long time and alot of restraing to create a clean layout. Love the look and the colours and how it came together !

I used the glimmer mist and Smooch spray on the white and added the stamping effect...
Then Mounted the photo on 4 colours and added some rub-ons and stickers....

Another page for her baby album - XOXO Maryleen

A new DOUBLE layout

I have been on my first BLOG HOP and I have been inspired!
Such beautiful new things happening in scrapping and enjoyed traveling a site called Swirlydoos. There are stunning prize packs to be won so starting hopping if you can . . . .

On a very differant note -  i have been busy creating a sketch challenge for a page for my Wedding Album. Yes its at Frosted Designs (totally love at moment) which was a double layout ! It is a first me again  ( i am having many firsts since this blog started...) and must say its ok for my first double - not overjoyed but ok.

My MiSSiON this year....

In the begining of 2012 i decided to start scrap booking my Wedding Day photo's... Seeing as all i seem to be doing lately is my beautiful girls, so this was something of me/for me to show my life journey.

This is one of my first pages so far.

My husband Nathan before he headed to the Church

The idea would be that i would find a sketch (any one in that fact that grabbed my eye). One sketch a month and create a page for my album that would eventually give me a beautiful story of my day.

So far i have remained true to my mission - except 1 due to my excitement of setting up a blog in June and entering my 1st challenge on line. Over the weeks ahead i will share them with you. So for today is one that took me some time to do seeing as its masculine. . . and i tried to be very simplistic tin the layout for i love that look YET it is outside my comfort zone.

Now i did follow a sketch, but for the life of me i can't remember where i found it .... possible Frosted Designs....... - YES! here is the link (i used a card sketch though) What do you think?

Have you created any pages of a special day you can share?

 XOXOX Maryleen
